Drupal Leaders Dinner – AU/NZ 2024 with Dries Buytaert for DrupalSouth Sydney 2024

Special thanks to Michael Richardson of Ironstar for the invitation to the Drupal Leaders Dinner!

I was invited to this exclusive dinner the evening before, which was attended by managers and executives from Drupal-related businesses in Australia and New Zealand. This time, we had two special guests from the US.

Tim Doyle, CEO of the Drupal Association and Dries Buytaert is the original creator and project lead for Drupal and CTO of Acquia, were both in attendance.

At the dinner, we gathered a survey from all participants beforehand. This allowed us to discuss topics such as the market in Australia and New Zealand, approaches to securing work, hiring practices, and future trends in Drupal, all while enjoying a delicious meal.

The attendees were all Drupal experts, and I learned a great deal from listening to their conversations and exchanging ideas. The markets in Australia and New Zealand are more mature than the Japanese market, which was particularly evident.
